Sagar Sinha is an independent Indian filmmaker, writer, director, producer, and founder of Eleven Rudra Studio. With over 20 years of experience in filmmaking, he has worked across direction, writing, production, VFX, animation, art direction, music, and post-production.
His creative philosophy, Satya Sanatan Cinema, combines truthful storytelling, Sanatan values, Indian culture, and modern cinematic techniques to create stories with both cultural depth and global appeal.
Early Journey
Sagar began his professional journey in cinema at the age of 18, working as an assistant director on Gujarati television productions including Bandhan and Gammat Gulaal. This early experience shaped his understanding of film production and visual storytelling.
Two Decades of Experience
Over the past 20 years, Sagar has evolved into a versatile Indian filmmaker with expertise across VFX, animation, production, post-production, art direction, music, scripting, and directing. From theatre to films, his diverse background reflects an unyielding commitment to exploring every dimension of narrative craft.
Philosophy of Satya Sanatan Cinema
For Sagar, filmmaking is more than art — it is a form of spiritual and psychological inquiry. Inspired by Ved Vyasa’s Mahabharata, his characters embody authentic human desires, fears, and struggles, negotiating between dharma and destiny. Instead of flat archetypes, his stories portray multi-layered individuals reflecting life’s complexity.

Through Eleven Rudra Studio, his mission is to create thought-provoking, neo-noir psychological thrillers, web series, and original films that are:
